About the Role

Virtual Edge Assistance is looking for a highly organized and business-minded Strategic Growth and Acquisition Support Specialist to support clients in marketing, lead generation, business research, CRM management, and acquisition-related support.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in business development, finance-related research, CRM systems, marketing support, and professional administrative coordination. The selected candidate will help support a client that works in the business acquisition and private equity space.

This is not a basic virtual assistant role. We are looking for someone who can think critically, conduct detailed research, organize important business information, and support high-level client workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research potential business acquisition targets
  • Build and organize prospect lists
  • Research business owners, executives, brokers, and referral partners
  • Support lead generation and outreach preparation
  • Assist with LinkedIn research and business development support
  • Update and maintain CRM records
  • Track deal stages, follow-ups, notes, and next steps
  • Prepare company research summaries
  • Assist with business and market research
  • Organize financial and business documents
  • Support due diligence checklists and document tracking
  • Follow up on missing information and deadlines
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and action-item summaries
  • Support marketing content ideas and outreach campaigns
  • Help maintain organized files, folders, and client records

Required Skills:

  • Experience supporting U.S.-based clients

This person should be able to research companies, organize data, manage CRM records, support follow-ups, and help clients stay on top of important business development and acquisition-related tasks.
